§1. Competition Organizer
- The organizer of the competition called "BuyCoffee UGC Crew" (hereinafter: "Competition") is Coffee Media limited liability company, operating the BuyCoffee.to service, with its registered office in Wrocław, Al. Dębowa 21, 53-121 Wrocław, entered in the register of entrepreneurs of the National Court Register under the number KRS: 0000871091, NIP: 7822889658, REGON: 38757587 (hereinafter: "Organizer").
- The Competition is organized in accordance with this regulation ("Regulation"), which defines the rules, scope, conditions of participation, rights and obligations of the Organizer and Participants, as well as the rules for awarding and disbursing prizes.
§2. Competition Duration
- The Competition takes place in two stages:
- I. Stage I – Candidate submissions: from November 5, 2025 to November 13, 2025 inclusive. During this period, Participants submit their applications via the competition form.
- II. Stage II – Material realization and publication: runs from the date of positive consideration of the application by the Organizer until November 21, 2025. In this stage, selected Creators prepare and publish competition materials according to the Organizer's guidelines.
- The official announcement of Competition results will take place by November 22, 2025, after the completion of both stages.
§3. Competition Participants
- A Participant in the Competition may be any natural person who has reached the age of 18 at the time of application, has full legal capacity, and has an active account in the BuyCoffee.to service and a public profile on at least one of the following services: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or YouTube Shorts.
- Excluded from participation in the Competition are employees of the Organizer and members of their immediate family.
§4. Competition Task
- The competition task is for the Participant to develop and publish a short video material that presents the BuyCoffee.to platform or selected aspects of its operation in an interesting, authentic and compliant manner with the rules of this Regulation (§ 5 – 6 of the Regulation).
§5. Stage I – Submissions and Participant Selection
- To participate in the Competition, the Participant must complete the application form provided by email by the Organizer between November 5 and 13, 2025.
- The competition application should include:
- • links to social media profiles
- • link to BuyCoffee.to account
- • content category being created
- • choice of material theme (e.g., about the service, recurring payments, targeted fundraising, additional features)
- • consent to share the created content by the Organizer
- • declaration of familiarity with the content of this Regulation and the Privacy Policy of the BuyCoffee.to service, acceptance thereof and consent to participate in the Competition.
- The Organizer will evaluate all applications based on qualitative and substantive criteria, taking into account in particular:
- a) Quality and aesthetics of published content – visual consistency, technical correctness of materials, narrative style, as well as overall appeal of the message will be evaluated.
- b) Authenticity and image consistency – consideration will be given to the extent to which the Creator's communication style and published content are consistent with their image, as well as whether they build audience trust.
- c) Regularity and activity on social media – frequency of publication and level of audience engagement (comments, reactions, shares) will be evaluated.
- d) Reach and social impact – the number of followers, average reach of publications, and potential to reach new users of the BuyCoffee.to service will be considered. Reach will be analyzed in relation to a specific platform, without combining results from different profiles.
- e) Thematic fit – consistency of created content with the scope of activity and values of the BuyCoffee.to service will be evaluated, including promotion of the idea of supporting creators, creativity, social engagement and ethical action on the internet.
- f) Creative potential – originality of ideas, ability to create engaging and non-stereotypical content, and ability to communicate value in an interesting and accessible manner will be analyzed.
- g) Compliance with formal requirements – the application must be complete and contain all elements specified in this Regulation.
- The Organizer reserves the right to reject applications that do not meet formal requirements, contain false information, or are inconsistent with law or ethical principles.
- Positive consideration of the application occurs through individual contact by the Organizer with the selected Creator through the data provided in the form.
- Selected participants will be qualified for Stage II of the Competition.
§6. Stage II – Realization of Competition Task
- The task of participants qualified for Stage II is to prepare and publish one video material promoting the BuyCoffee.to service in accordance with the following rules:
- • material length: maximum 30–40 seconds;
- • the word "BuyCoffee.to" must appear in the first 10 seconds;
- • the material should present BuyCoffee.to in a reliable manner, consistent with its idea and character of operation, maintaining a positive or neutral tone of expression; presenting the brand in a manner that could damage its reputation or mislead audiences is prohibited;
- • the material should present general information about the BuyCoffee.to platform or refer to its specific functionalities, capabilities or aspects of service use (e.g., creating fundraisers, recurring payments, supporting creators)
- • the video must include the hashtags #buycoffee.to and #buycoffeecrew;
- • the Participant's profile must be public and the number of views must be publicly visible;
- • each Participant may prepare and submit only one video material that will participate in the Competition; if more materials are published by one Participant, only the first published material will be considered.
- The video should be published within 7 days of receiving confirmation of participation.
- The material should be directed at audiences from the territory of Poland.
- The Organizer reserves the right to verify the authenticity of views and statistical data, including the right to request a video conversation to present account analytics and confirm results.
§7. Rules for Awarding Prizes and Accounting
- The Competition provides for a monthly system of settlement of results based on the number of organic views received by the video material within the first 30 days from its publication.
- The rate is PLN 10 gross for every started 1000 views of the material. Views are not rounded up – compensation is calculated only for complete exceeding of each threshold of 1000 views.
- The total amount of prize for one material cannot exceed PLN 10,000 gross.
- Prize payment is one-time in nature and covers only the number of views obtained by the Participant's video material within the first 30 days from the date of its publication. The Participant has no right to demand compensation for further views of the material after this period expires.
- The Participant sends to the Organizer a link to the video material and a screenshot from the analytics panel showing the publication date and number of views, no later than the 15th day of the month following publication. The submitted data is subject to verification and acceptance by the Organizer.
- After positive verification of the application, the Organizer will inform the Participant of the prize awarded for the given month by sending a message via email to the address provided in the competition form.
- Payment of the awarded prize takes place within 7 days from the date of sending the information about the prize award by the Organizer.
- The Participant who received the prize agrees to the publication of information about the Competition results through the Organizer's communication channels after the end of the Competition, i.e., after the completion of both stages.
- In case of inability to contact the Prize Winner within five (5) business days from sending information about the prize award, or failure to provide a bank account number within the required time, the right to the prize expires, and the Prize Winner waives any claims related thereto against the Organizer.
§8. Restrictions and Reservations
- The Organizer may reject an application or exclude a participant during the Competition if:
- • the video material violates regulations applicable in the Service;
- • statistics are falsified or unreliable;
- • content does not relate to the BuyCoffee.to service or violates the provisions of the Service and ethical principles of the Organizer.
§9. Taxes
- All monetary prizes specified in this Regulation are gross amounts.
- The Organizer undertakes to cover the applicable tax on prizes in accordance with applicable tax law, provided that the Prize Winner is a natural person not conducting business activity.
- The prize received constitutes income within the meaning of Article 10(1) point 9 of the Act on Personal Income Tax (Journal of Laws 1991 No. 80, item 350 as amended; Journal of Laws 2025, item 163).
§10. Claims Procedure
- Claims related to the course of the Competition may be submitted in written form or via email to: info@buycoffee.to within 14 days from the date of announcement of Competition results, respectively after each stage of the Competition.
- Claims submitted after the expiration of the specified period will not be considered.
- The claim submission should contain data identifying the Participant and a detailed description of the objections raised.
- The Organizer undertakes to review the claim within 14 days of its receipt and inform the Participant of the manner of its resolution.
§11. Personal Data Processing
- The administrator of personal data of Competition Participants is Coffee Media sp. z o.o.
- Personal data of Participants is processed solely for the purpose of conducting and settling the Competition. Provision of data is voluntary, but necessary for the realization of these objectives. Personal data may also be processed when necessary to fulfill legally justified purposes of the data administrator, and in particular for the purpose of communication with Participants on the basis of consent expressed in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.
- The scope of processed data includes information provided by the Participant in the application form.
- Personal data processing shall be carried out according to the rules provided for by the Act of August 29, 1997 on the protection of personal data (Journal of Laws 2002 No. 101, item 926 as amended).
- Personal data will be stored for the period necessary to achieve the objectives related to the Competition, including until the end of appeals procedures.
- Participants have the right to access their data, correct it, delete it, and restrict its processing, in accordance with applicable law.
- Expression by the Participant of additional consent to process data for marketing purposes is voluntary and does not constitute a condition for participation in the Competition.
§12. Final Provisions
- The Organizer reserves the right to exclude from the Competition Participants who violate the provisions of this Regulation or otherwise act inconsistently with its purpose or good practices.
- The Organizer reserves the right to end the Competition after the completion of Stage I, in particular in case of low number of competition applications, insufficient interest from Creators or other circumstances preventing its further realization. In such case, the Competition will be considered ended, and the Organizer's decision in this regard is final and not subject to appeal.
- The "BuyCoffee Crew" Competition is not sponsored, supported or conducted by any of the social media platforms on which competition materials are published.
- The Organizer reserves the right to organize subsequent editions of the "BuyCoffee Crew" Competition on the terms specified in this Regulation or in separate regulations published by the Organizer. Deadlines, rules and conditions of participation in subsequent editions may change at the Organizer's discretion.
- The Competition does not constitute a lottery, prize draw, mutual wagering or any other form of gambling within the meaning of the Gambling Act (Journal of Laws 2009 No. 201, item 1540 as amended; Journal of Laws 2025, item 595).
- The Competition Regulation is publicly available on the website dedicated to the Competition.
- The Organizer reserves the right to change the provisions of this Regulation if necessary for the proper conduct of the Competition. Changes take effect from the moment of their publication on the Organizer's website.
- In matters not covered by this Regulation, Polish law applies, in particular the Civil Code.
- The Regulation comes into force on November 5, 2025 and remains in force throughout the entire duration of the Competition and until its complete settlement.
