FindInEurope exists because a European flag on a website tells you almost nothing.

A service may be headquartered in Europe while its parent company, governing law, infrastructure or data remain elsewhere. Finding out what is actually European requires checking company registers, regulatory records, privacy policies, certifications and public filings. That work takes time, and many of the most useful sources are difficult or expensive to access.

I am building FindInEurope to make this research public, understandable and verifiable. Each assessment shows what has been independently confirmed, what comes only from the company, and what remains unknown. The scoring method is

published, so nobody can pay for a better result. FindInEurope is also becoming part of Fundamenta Europa, an independent European NGO focused on technological sovereignty. The aim is not to promote companies simply because they call themselves European. It is to give people and organisations reliable evidence before they choose where to keep their money, communications and data.

Your support helps cover research, company records, hosting and the practical costs of building the foundation. It also helps keep the project free from paid listings, sponsored rankings and advertising pressure.
